Dear flamenco aficionados,
This Sat., Nov. 16, 2013, at 2:00p.m., a Flamenco Documentary, on The History of Flamenco in the US, will be showing in D.C.
I, along with other accomplished D.C. flamenco artists (as well as a mentor/colleague of mine, Manolo Leiva, who passed away last year) will also be featured in the film.
The director, Carolina Loyola- Garcia, has put her passion for flamenco, determined efforts in traveling throughout the US, and talents as a director and interviewer to compile and present Sobre las Olas- a story of flamenco in the US. If you are able to attend, it would be wonderful to support her efforts.
