Marija Temo with guest flamenco dancer, Ulrika Frank, in performance with the Kennett Symphony.
MarijaTemo will perform the famous guitar concerto “Concierto de Aranjuez” by Joaquin Rodrigo, and be the featured flamenco singer in Manuel de Falla’s “El Amor Brujo“. Ulrika Frank, flamenco dancer, will join Marija Temo in one of the El Amor Brujo songs, and will be featured as a dance soloist. Temo and Frank will also perform a number together as a duo. It was wonderful to reunite with La Romera, fiery gyspy style flamenco dancer. She invited me to perform with her for a presentation at The Behrend College in Erie, PA. It was a lot of fun improvising, playing, and singing for her, and just hanging out together!
