A six-week series open to dancers, guitarists, and singers of all levels. This course focuses on improvisation beyond the traditional four coplas of choreography, giving dancers the freedom to move organically within the structure of the music. Guitarists and singers learn how to recognize and follow key structural points so they can confidently recover if a mishap occurs. The series also explores guitar solo versions of sevillanas, how to find the correct guitar chord structures for singing, how singers can follow dancers, and the essential tools dancers, singers, and guitarists use to listen, respond, and support one another in real time.
