Today, I had such a fulfilling experience, offering an introductory flamenco dance class to very talented dancers @Design In Motion Dance Studio’s Summer Intensive, in Gambrills, MD. These young students experience many different styles of dance from different instructors for one week starting at 9:00a.m.- 4:00p.m. Thank you Hannah Engelke for wanting to expose these young dancers to flamenco and allowing me to share my love of the art form with them. See my facebook fan page for photos.
I had another wonderful opportunity to perform as a soloist on the Zac Brown Band concert last night, 6/22/14, to 25,000 sold out seat venue at Jiffy Lube Live in Bristow, VA. Thank you Zac Brown! Special thanks to Andy Sapp of Southern Reel for this amazing photo!
See my facebook fan page for more photos of the event, and with Zac Brown.

Marija Temo will be a guest soloist with the Parma Symphony Orchestra, performing “Tango Fantasy” a work written for Marija Temo by Loris Chobanian that combines the characteristic qualities of both the Argentinean Tango and the Flamenco Tango of Andalusia. This will indeed be a special and momentous occasion in that the composer, Loris Chobanian, will be conducting his own work with Marija Temo performing.
On a personal note: Loris was my undergraduate guitar professor when I attended Baldwin-Wallace College, and I am looking so forward to reuniting with him for this event. A special thank you to Dr. Randolph P. Laycock, Music Director of the Parma Symphony, and Joe Germana, Business Manager.
