Marija Temo presents Flamenco Amazement & offers Flamenco Guitar Classes at Rocketship Southside Community Prep Elementary Bilingual Charter School starting 3/18/16, Milwaukee, WI
Thank you Meaghan Heinrich, Director, Conservatory Connections, Wisconsin Conservatory of music for having me present my Flamenco Amazement program and offer Flamenco Guitar classes to the Rocketship Southside Community Prep Elementary Bilingual Charter School. I love teaching in Spanish and working with these appreciative children. Thank you also to the Rocketship principal and staff.
M. Temo will demonstrate flamenco influence expressed in Manuel de Falla’s Spanish Classical composition, Nights in the Gardens of Spain.
She will also present a traditional flamenco guitar and vocal song, and her flamenco guitar and vocal arrangement of de Falla’s “Cancion del Fuego Fatuo” from the “El Amor Brujo” Suite.

Marija Temo will be performing at the Chicago Flamenco Festival, Sat, Feb. 20 at 7:30p.m., presenting her composition, Farruca, with the Clinard Flamenco Quartet and collaborators (Wendy Clinard, contemporary flamenco dancer, Steve Gibons, Gypsy jazz violinist, Alex Wing, bassist, and Marija Temo, flamenco guitarist)opening for RAQUEL HEREDIA “LA REPOMPILLA”.

Looking forward to returning to present my Flamenco Amazement program of guitar, song, and dance at Revere High School on Jan. 4, 2016! Presentation will be for the Revere Middle School students taking place at the high school auditorium.
Thank you Heather Tilson, Spanish teacher, for organizing my coming, for your enthusiasm, and wanting to give students the opportunity to see and learn about flamenco. I am delighted to share and give back to my old school.
