Marija Temo in premier performance in Ensemble Espanol’s 40th American Spanish Dance & Music Festival, Chicago, IL, 6/8, 2016
Temo will be a guest soloist and guitar and singer accompanist for Ensemble Espanol’s 40th American Spanish Dance and Music Festival in Chicago, IL this coming week on Wed., June 8, 2016. “I am very excited to be a part of this festival and working with Ensemble Espanol as well the other guest artists. I have known about Libby Fleming and Ensemble Espanol for many years and worked with one of their principal dancers in the past, Juan Ramon. Note: Temo will also be accompanying Ensemble Espanol’s Festival Flamenco Master Classes taught by guest artists: Paloma Gomez, Carlos Rodriguez, Angel Rojas, Carmela Greco, 6/20-25/2016. Which classes are still to be determined.

They will open this years 40th anniversary Duende Flamenco Concert at the Old Town School of Folk Music on June 8 with Carmela Greco, Flamenco master from Madrid, Paco Fonta, Flamenco singer and guitarist, Javier Saume-Mazzei, percussionist and dancers from the Ensemble Español.
