Thank you Meaghan Heinrich, Director, Conservatory Connections, Wisconsin Conservatory of music for having me present my Flamenco Amazement program and offer Flamenco Guitar classes to the Rocketship Southside Community Prep Elementary Bilingual Charter School. I love teaching in Spanish and working with these appreciative children. Thank you also to the Rocketship principal and staff.
M. Temo will demonstrate flamenco influence expressed in Manuel de Falla’s Spanish Classical composition, Nights in the Gardens of Spain.
She will also present a traditional flamenco guitar and vocal song, and her flamenco guitar and vocal arrangement of de Falla’s “Cancion del Fuego Fatuo” from the “El Amor Brujo” Suite.
