This December, Studio K Flamenco presents The Flamenco Nutcracker an exciting new twist on the beloved holiday classic. Celebrate the season with an unforgettable evening filled with the beauty and passion of Flamenco dance. Follow the Matador Prince as he charges into the enchanted forest filled with intoxicating rhythms, colorful costumes and clicking castanets.
Guest dancer Manuel Gutierrez dazzles with his powerful footwork and commanding stage presence. Award winning flamenco guitarist Marija Temo performs her original score live with pianist, Joseph Hauer and percussionist, Mitch Shiner. Join us for a magical holiday celebration like no other in this family friendly performance directed by internationally acclaimed choreographer Kerensa DeMars.

Flamenco Quartet is a project dedicated to exploring new exponents of flamenco. Led by an open minded spirit the ensemble seeks to engage with contemporary culture through vibrant performances that honor traditional flamenco and their shared passion for music and dance discovery. Their roster boasts remarkably diverse talents, including composers, arrangers, improvisers and choreographers who bring a range of cultural influences to the group, from Gypsy jazz to klezmer to flamenco and classical Arabic and Spanish.
